White Dextrin
Country of Origin: India Acid Treated
Category:

Dextrins [ (C6 H10 O5)n ] are also known as pyrodextrins. Dextrin are prepared by heat treatment in presence of chemicals to suitably modify characteristics and properties of starch. They find application in dyes, adhesives, foundries, fire-crackers, oil drilling and many other industries. Dextrins are graded on the basis of servity of heat and acid treatment. They are widely used due to its excellent adhesive and water solubility properties.

Unlike starch dextrin are soluble in water. The severity of the treatment determines the degree of solubility, which is the basis of classifying or grading dextrin. Finished dextrin are very fine powder varying in color from pure white to yellow to dark brown.

Our product portfolio includes both linear and branched White dextrin’s most common use is in the paperboard industry, where it’s used to improve the stiffness and strength of cardboard. Our white dextrin products have significant advantages over existing synthetic resins due to their higher solid content and excellent binding capabilities.

This white dextrin powder is top quality, processed under hygienic conditions, and is renowned in the marketplace for its thickness and purity. In the chemical industry, it is widely used for a variety of purposes. It is affordable, making it shine in the domain. Starch is roasted in the presence of an acid, which chemically changes its properties and character. Finished dextrin is a very fine powder that varies in colour from pure white to off-white.

We manufacture “White Dextrin” is derived from high quality Tapioca / Maize Starch Powder.

Character

  • In Paper tubes and paper cones.
  • In book binding cartoon sealing cigarettes pasting match head and matchbox making.
  • As core binder in Refractory and foundry operations.

The advantage of dextrin in the dye stuff industries are so well recognized that good many large-scale manufactures have taken to using highly soluble dextrin as diluents to standardized the dyes with respect to the range of color. Dextrin washes out quickly and easily and do not react with chemicals used in the process.
